ANTIQUE ILLINOIS WATCH CO HUNTERS EXPRESS POCKET WATCH/KEY/CHAIN NEEDS REPAIR

Up for auction is this Illinois Watch Company pocket watch. Size I think is 16 or 18. Pocket watch is marked in back Express and number 224836 which dates it to 1878. Pocket watch is not running and needs to be repaired. Piece is wound but does not run. Dial has what looks like a hairline crack on it. Watch also needs crystal glass face. Watch does have lever inside which does work when pulled to change the time. This is most likely a hunt is watch but not sure if it may be a railroad watch. Cover has wear. The design on watch looks like flowers and in the background a house. Chain is not marked gold. Attached to chain is a piece that at one time held a fob. Also on chain is the key that winds it up in the back. This is a nice old pocket watch and one that would be nice to restore again.**PA residents pay 6% sales tax.
