About this
piece:
Swiss made automatic movement in great working condition signed
OMEGA 17 jewels serial # 9938666 which would put its manufacturing
date around 1939/1940. The solid 18K gold case (weight is about 15.5
grams) is signed and carries all the essay markings from
Switzerland, its serial #166070 and the screw back cover is stamped
with the word waterproof in the outside. The diameter of the watch
without the crown is about 34.5 mm (about 1 5/16"). From lug to lug
it measures about 40 mm (just shy of 1 5/8"). The dial is in
champagne color and has the sunken second hand, please note that it
would greatly benefit from a refinish (see pictures). Appears to
have the original signed crown. The leather band has the Omega logo
but I do not know if it is original leather. It is signed a total of
5 times (case, movement, face, crown, band). Great collectors
item!!!
PLEASE NOTE: the dial shows tiny dots which would be associated
with age, although it might pass as part of the design you might
want to consider restoring it some time in the future. Of course
it has not bearing at all in the way the watch works. It has
been serviced not too long ago.

are none. Please check the detailed information provided in the
listing where we clearly state the classification of the stones as
graded by a professional gemologist.
Metals are very
reflective, dark spots you might see in the metals are reflections of
the camera captured by the lens due to lighting conditions.It is a generally
accepted practice in the jewelry business to inspect and grade pieces under a
10X magnification glass. Since we use a very high definition digital
camera with a 100 mm macro lens our photos are enlarged in a way as if they were under a
microscope. Be aware that things you
may see in the pictures definitely can't be seen with the naked eye or a 10X magnification glass.
Occasionally some images might
make an item appear to be imperfect when it actually is faultless. We only sell
quality pieces, our track record speaks by itself with many repeat
customers.
