Antique 1908 Waltham .14k Gold Pocket Watch, K.w.c Hunter Case – 17 Jewels

Here is an amazing antique 14K Gold 17 Jewel Waltham Pocket Watch Serial # 16843562 dates this as made in 1908 Marked on the movement "A.W.W.Co. Waltham, Mass 17 jewels" This has a separate second hand dial. The watch winds and it does work. The case is made by the Keystone Watch Case Company. It is beautifully textured and simply decorated. It is marked on the inner shell, "Guaranteed 14K 585 Fine The K.W.C.Co 5204837". The watch measures 2 inches across by 2 3/4 inches up to the top of the stem. 1/19/2012 - had a request to post a picture of the side of the case. I just added the 3rd picture. The edge is in fine condition with no damage. The case does close with a nice tight snap and opens well. The total weight of the watch is 95 grams.
I am selling this and other pieces of jewelry for one of the members of the senior center where I teach computer classes. She is an 88 year old widow who is downsizing and saving the money made here for her grandchildren. This wonderful watch belonged to her father.
