Antique
New York Standard Watch CO Pocket Watch, circa 1899. This watch casing is beautiful etched whit
metal and is elegant in its design. The inside of the watch clearly shows the
New York Standard Watch Brand. The back casing shows Dayton W.C. Co.; however
the etching around the back casing matches the etching around the front edges
of the watch. I was unable to locate why this is. Possibly the New York Standard Watch Company purchased
the external casings for their watches. Still it’s a unique peace for any collection
or as a gift.
Condition:
This watch is in good working order and good condition. It has been serviced several times as evident
of the inscriptions on the inside of the back casing.(See photos for detail)
