From an estate .. an antique Gold Case Pocket Watch with a beautiful seated Liberty gold dial. This watch does run and has been keeping good time since wound.  The dust cover is marked M Tobias Liverpool (what looks like the word Hands in script) No 11872 Detached Lever and 13 jewels. This is a 16 Size , Key Wind , Key Set  bar movement. It has a gold dial with Rose gold Roman Numerals and a seated Liberty Lady in the center. The back of the case is marked F H Lockwood with a left facing Eagle and 11872.  With the exception of the dust cover this watch is gold. I am starting the auction at the scrap gold price of 14K at 20 grams HOWEVER , this watch tested very strong for 16k. I weighed it with the crystal in and no dust cover and it was 24.2 grams. I had a crystal similar  that weighed 4 grams so I am deducting that .. hence 20 grams.  The face of the dial is gold as well but I did not include that in the weight as I would have to tear it apart to do so. This is just a beautiful watch and I would hate to see it scrapped. It has some light pin dents to the case ... one to the dial between 1&2.  The back of the case could close tighter. It will close and snap  .. I believe it just needs adjusted but I will leave to someone who knows better. Thanks

I will be listing several antique pocket watches from this estate so be sure to check my other items. ALL watches are sold as is , No returns. I will try to describe and tell you if they run or not . I would recommend servicing as I do not know the history ... as they are estate watches.  I am not a collector or horoligist so please email if you have questions or need more pictures. Thanks .
