The Case
Authentic Ulysse Nardin open face case manufactured entirely in shiny solid 18K Yellow Gold. In amazing condition with discrete signs of age, but still fantastic for its age. It features a hinged front bezel, and polished plain back cover. Contains an antique style crown, and oval shaped bow with a Swiss hallmark on the elegant stem. The dustcover is signed ‘Ulysse Nardin, Locle & Geneve, Grands Prix Paris' No. 986. The 18k gold seal, Swiss gold hallmark, and case reference number B4306 are stamped inside both covers. Also inscribed inside the back cover with the Ulysse Nardin emblematic shield. The case measures to 48 mm (1.89") in diameter and 10.5 mm (0.41") thick with the acrylic crystal.Total weight: 68.1 grams / 2.19 oz. (troy).It has an 18k gold content of 26.7 grams, giving the watch a value of U$1201.50 in scrap gold alone, with the gold price at the moment of the listing at U$1860 an ounce. The DialStunning unique antique white enamel dial in excellent original condition, with a few signs of age. There is a subtle hairline fracture from 5 to 35 and 5 to 20 that can only be seen when looking closely. The face showcases golden Louis XV style hands that are elegantly decorated by colorful flowers with golden centers. There are inner elegant stylized black Roman numerals as the hour markers placed on a very sublt rose pink colored thick ring. Also features an outer 'railroad' minute track in black accompanied by blue Arabic numbers in 5 minute increments. Contains a detailed sunken seconds subdial at marker 6 with a golden hand. Signed Ulysse Nardin, Locle. Acrylic crystal in superb condition with no evidence of use or age. The MovementBeautiful manual wind movement in great condition with a crown-set. Cleaned and serviced prior to auction. Keeping great time, with all of its components functioning well. Signed Ulysse Nardin Locle and marked with serial number 52006.
